How to Fix Space Marine 2 Connection Issues

If Space Marine 2 will not connect, drops you out of matches, or shows an error code, work through the three checks below in order. They apply to every platform. If they don't help, go to the guide that matches your platform or what you are seeing.

  1. Power cycle your router. Unplug the power cable from your router, wait at least 30 seconds, then plug it back in and wait for it to come fully online. Restarting from the router's admin page is not the same thing — the cable has to come out.

  1. Try a different connection. Connection failures usually come from the route between you and our servers rather than from your machine, so changing that route often clears them.

    • On a phone hotspot: connect your PC or console to your phone's hotspot and play one match. If the game works there, your internet provider is routing you badly.

    • If you use a VPN or proxy: disconnect it completely rather than pausing it, then relaunch.

    • If you do not use one: try a free VPN for a single match and see whether the connection holds.

3. Repair or reinstall the game. Damaged or incomplete files cause connection failures that appear to be network problems.

  • Steam: right-click Space Marine 2 → PropertiesInstalled FilesVerify integrity of game files

  • Epic Games Store: library → the three dots under Space Marine 2 → ManageVerify

  • Microsoft Store: SettingsApps → Space Marine 2 → Advanced optionsRepair

  • PS5 and Xbox: delete the game, then reinstall it. Your progress is stored on your account, not in the game files.
