Please follow the guide if you wish to transfer your Save File from Epic Games Store to Steam:
- Put all vehicles in the Garage on your EGS Save File;
First, you must put all your vehicles into the Garage. Vehicles and trailers can disappear if you leave them in the in-game world, so we advise first putting them in the Garage. Trailers can be sold before making a save file transfer. - Disable Steam Cloud Saves for Snowrunner;
Library - SnowRunner - General - Steam Cloud - Turn Off. - Find your SnowRunner Steam Save folder;
The easiest way would be to launch the game on Steam and play until the game saves. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\ and check your latest date. SnowRunner Save folder should have.cfg files in the folder. The final destination should look like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\875635157\1465360\remote. - Copy files from EGS to Steam;
Open EGS save folder - C:\Users\*USERNAME*\Documents\My Games\SnowRunner\base\storage\2ace3f239920439faa6737a6ef289171 (this is an example of the ID key, it would be different for you). Copy all the files from said folder to your Steam save files folder - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\875635157\1465360\remote (once again, numbers will be different for you). - Rename copied files for a Steam-compatible extension;
Rename newly copied files in \remote folder from *.dat to *.cfg. If you can't see file extensions, check the "View" tab on your folder and enable "File name extensions". - Delete remotecache.vdh file;
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\875635157\1465360\remotecache.vdh (once again, numbers will be different for you). - Relaunch Steam Client;
This needs to be done to clear the Steam Client cache. Clearing cache should correctly adjust Fog levels on World Map. - Run the game, check if the progress is correct;
- Turn Cloud Saves back on;
Select "Local Files - Upload To Steam Cloud" when Steam asks about Cloud Saves Conflict.
