PC Version

Try power cycling the network devices:

  • Turn off the computer.
  • Turn off and unplug the modem and the router if there is one.
  • Wait one minute.
  • Plug back in and turn on the modem and the router.
  • Turn on the computer.

Try connecting your computer to the Internet directly with the cable (without connecting to the router).

Try using another Internet source (for example, a mobile hotspot) to see if there are any changes.

Check if you use a VPN/proxy or other applications that can affect your Internet connection. If you do, please try disabling it. If your VPN service allows it, you may also try choosing another server. If you don't, please try connecting to the game using a VPN (you may choose any free VPN service available to you for this test).

PS5 Version

Your PlayStation 5 may encounter online issues when your network is in NAT Type 3, which means that the console is behind multiple routers. Please try to be in NAT Type 1 or 2. This guide may help you set this up:

Xbox Series X|S Version

Try power cycling your console:

  • Turn off your console
  • Disconnect the power cable
  • Wait for at least one minute
  • Reconnect the power cable
  • Restart the console.

Try rebooting your router:

  • Unplug your router
  • Wait for at least one minute, and plug it back in.
  • Turn on the router if needed.

Try clearing the alternate MAC address following these steps:

  • Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and selecting Settings.
  • Select Network Settings.
  • Select Advanced Settings.
  • Under Change Settings, select Alternate MAC Address.
  • Select Clear.
  • Allow the console to restart when prompted.

Try changing your DNS Settings:

  • Turn on your Xbox Series and go to the home screen.
  • Select 'Settings' (gear icon) from the main menu.
  • Scroll down and select 'Network' from the settings menu.
  • Select 'Network settings' and select 'Advanced settings'.
  • Select 'DNS settings' and select 'Manual'.
  • Enter the details for your preferred DNS server, such as Google's DNS: 8.8.8.8 for primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 for secondary DNS. If Google DNS doesn't work, you can also try using another free DNS operator. For example, Cloudflare DNS (Cloudflare’s public DNS addresses are 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1)
  • Save your settings and exit the menu.
  • Restart the console and check if the issue persists.
