Q: Does this game support Steam Deck? A: We are currently playable on Steam Deck.
Q: How much space do I need to install The Knightling? A: The full game will be about 8GB in size, but the initial install package may require 10GB.
Q: Is there a Deluxe Edition? A: Yes! The Knightling - Deluxe Edition features the base game plus exclusive in-game cosmetics. Defend the people of Clesseia with regal golden colours for you and your shield, and light the path of justice with a special lantern ribbon. Q: What are the game’s accessibility options? A: For accessibility options, the game has:
- Three difficulty settings: easy, medium and hard.
- Immortal mode, where you don’t have to worry about dying.
- UI scale settings for readability.
Q: I am a content creator. Where can I request a game code? A: You can put in a request on Lurkit ,and we will evaluate your request.
Q: Will there be DLC/microtransaction/a Season Pass? A: The Deluxe Edition contains individual bonus items. There are no plans for any other additional content at this time.
Q: Is there romance in the game? A: Though characters will have emotions and feelings towards each other, romance and relationship management is not part of the gameplay.
Q: What is Saber’s involvement with The Knightling? A: Saber is the publisher for The Knightling. We support in all areas in helping the game come to market so that Twirlbound can focus on development.
Q: Is the shield the only voiced character, or are there more? A: The shield - his name is Magnus! - is the only voiced character in the game. There is a narrative purpose for this. Magnus speaks to the Knightling through thought, so voiced audio helps with the immersion that the shield is always present and speaking directly in the player's mind.
Q: Is there any loot, accessories, or visual equipment changes to the main character? A: There are some fun cosmetic unlockables using in-game currency and rewards.
Q: Is there a fast-travel system? A: Yes, there are a number of landmarks on the map between which you can fast travel.
Q: Will you have choices that influence the world, similar to Pine? A: The Knightling is a more linear-driven story than Pine, but there are some small choices which allow you to influence the world around you.
Q: Are there dynamic world events/activities/mini-games? A: Yes! Sometimes, random encounters can happen when exploring the open world. NPCs can dynamically interact with enemies that wander too close. There are several racing mini-games scattered throughout the game.
Q: Is there a day and night cycle? A: Yes! This happens naturally, but can also be advanced at any time. Some events may only be accessible at certain in-game times.
