Update 1.19 Operation: Shell Shock – Release Notes

Hello soldiers!
Welcome to the release notes for Update 1.19 Operation: Shell Shock! This update features two new semi-automatic shotguns, a new challenge system, new character customization options, and a Halloween-themed LTGM.
CHALLENGES
To give players more opportunities to earn rewards while they play Insurgency: Sandstorm, we are introducing Challenges. There are three types, each offering unique goals:
- Daily Challenges – Daily objectives that rotate every 24 hours.
- Weekly Challenges – Bigger challenging objectives that may take more time to complete.
- Static Challenges – Always active and can be completed at any time. Some of these include multiple objectives, with new levels unlocking as you complete prior ones.
You can view and track your active Challenges in the Stats menu under the Challenges tab, or directly from the Play menu in Co-op or Versus. Your Daily and Tracked Challenges appear there, so you can easily track your progress before heading into combat.
Once the match is over, your completed and tracked Challenges will also appear on the Results screen, giving you a quick overview of what you’ve achieved.
Challenges are available in official online matches only. Local play and community servers will not count toward Challenge progress.
