How to play with friends?

In Insurgency: Sandstorm, the method for playing with friends depends on whether you are using the same or different platforms (Crossplay).

If you and your friends are on the same platform and are friends through that platform's native friends list (Steam, Xbox Live, PSN), do the following:

1. Launch Insurgency: Sandstorm and ensure all players are in the main menu.
2. In the top right corner of the screen, you should see a plus sign (+) icon or an icon with double silhouettes.
3. Click this icon and choose an option to Create a Party.
4. You will then have an option to select the friends you want to invite from your friends list and send them a game invitation.
5. Once they accept, they will join your party in the game lobby. The party leader can then start matchmaking, and all members should join the same game.

For PC players: Ensure that the Steam or Epic Games overlay is enabled in your platform's settings, as this is necessary for the in-game invitations to work.
