A:  Bus Bound is a new driving game from the creators of Bus Simulator 18, Bus Simulator 21, and Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator. In Bus Bound, players take on the role of an everyday hero and assist in the day-to-day travels of passengers–unlocking new routes and expanding access to the city ride by ride. In Bus Bound, every stop matters.

A: Bus Bound launched on digital platforms on April 30, 2026.

A: Bus Bound is available on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.

A: Yes! Retail editions of the Deluxe Edition will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on May 28 via our co-publisher Microids.

A: We have crossplay between Steam and the Epic Games Store. We do not currently plan to support crossplay between PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.

A: Bus Bound has text localization in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Czech, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Welsh (PC).

Q: Do I need an internet connection to play Bus Bound?
A: An internet connection is needed to download the game and to play multiplayer, but otherwise no.

A: Yes, if your wheel is supported and it has force feedback, force feedback is supported.

Q: Does this game support Steam Deck?
A: While Bus Bound is not officially supporting Steam Deck, we do not know of any issues in running the game on the platform.

Q: Is there a Deluxe Edition?
A: Yes.

Q: What is included in the Deluxe Edition?
A: The Deluxe Edition includes the Horizon Speed 40ft bus, a retro-style skin pack, and the Bus Pass, guaranteeing day-one access to the first three content expansions coming in 2026.

A: Yes, there are three confirmed DLC updates coming in 2026. These can be purchased individually when they release, or can be obtained through the Bus Pass (Season Pass) available in the Deluxe Edition or as a standalone purchase. 
There are no microtransactions in Bus Bound.


Q: What is Saber’s involvement with Bus Bound?
A: Saber Interactive is the publisher for Bus Bound. We support in all areas so that stillalive Studios can focus on development.


Q: Can I get out of the bus and explore the city by walking?
A: No, you can't. Bus Bound is a driving-focused experience.


Q: Is there a sandbox mode?
A: Once you complete the career campaign in Bus Bound, the entire game is unlocked. This means unlimited stops in the line editor, a free-roam mode with no stops, and all buses available to drive.


Q: Does the game have a career mode?
A: The primary game mode is the career mode, and once you have unlocked all of the districts and stops, you're free to keep playing even beyond unlocking all of the content in the game.

Q: Does this game support ultrawide monitors or triple-screen?
A: Bus Bound supports 21:9 and 32:9 ultrawide ratios. The game also works with three displays, though it may require specialized setup.

Q: Will the pre-order bonus be available after release?
A: No, we do not have plans for this at this time.

Q: Does Bus Bound feature modding support?
A: Bus Bound has modding support for the livery of the bus. This includes pallet colors, recolorable textures, and full color textures.
